Filter Socks can be used in gullies and ditches, around downspouts, in front of storm drains, and wherever potential stormwater runoff may occur. Filter socks are made of woven polymer which filters and removes pollutants from stormwater runoff and allows water to pass through quickly. The Cary Company offers models that filter heavy metals, chemicals and hydrocarbons, or phosphorous. These socks have looped end so they can be staked securely in place.
